The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a govt-sponsored public service program—a scheme of the GOI, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

The scheme was launched in Gandhiji`s centenary year in 1969 with an aim of developing students` personality through community service. It is a voluntary association of young people in colleges and universities.

The College has been allotted two full-time units of NSS. The participant students are required to involve in 120 hrs community service in two consecutive years and participate in 7-days Special Camp to get the certificate.
